Definition : Saw blades designed for use as the cutting component of a manually operated sagittal electric or pneumatic saw used to cut materials, objects, or anatomic structures. These devices typically consist of a detachable, toothed, flat blade that is attached to a saw that includes a mechanism that oscillates at a very high speed in the same or a parallel plane to the axis of the machine without full rotation.
