Definition : Laryngoscope handles designed to be the holding component of and to provide light for a fiberoptic laryngoscope blade. These devices usually consist of a hollow handle, fiberoptic bundles, a battery, a light source (e.g., halogen, LED), and a battery charger. The handle and the attached fiberoptic blade compose a working fiberoptic laryngoscope.
