Morcellators

Definition : Devices designed to divide solid tissue (e.g., tumors, the uterus) into pieces, followed by removal of the pieces (morcellation). Morcellators may consist either of a system combining an electrically powered unit and all the instruments needed for this procedure or a set of appropriate manually operated instruments (e.g., scissors, blades, grasping instruments).
