Software, Physiologic Analysis, Temperature-Based Screening

Definition : Physiologic analysis software designed for processing data obtained by temperature-based physiologic analyzers. This software is intended to work only with one or a few models of temperature-based screening analyzers, usually from the same manufacturer. The software may perform a variety of algorithms to facilitate the analysis of measurements performed during the testing period using a standard computer. Temperature-based screening analysis software is intended to process the temperature data obtained by the analyzer and provide preliminary estimates of hematology values, such as hemoglobin and hematocrit levels; red, white, and lymphocyte cell counts; electrolytes (e.g., sodium potassium, calcium); and other blood components (e.g., cholesterol). The software is intended for health status screenings.
