Germicides, Liquid, Ortho-phthalaldehyde

Definition : Liquid germicides, whose main active ingredient is, Ortho-phthalaldehyde that are intended for killing and/or inactivation of many microorganisms (e.g., viruses, bacteria, fungi). These liquid germicides are typically used in disinfecting units where a disinfecting process (typically by immersion) under controlled time, temperature, and concentration is performed. Ortho-phthalaldehyde is used mainly to disinfect endoscopes.
