Dispenser/Placement Instruments, Laboratory, Minimum Inhibitory Concentration Strip/Disc

Definition : Laboratory instruments designed for dispensing and placement of minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) strips or discs on inoculated agar plates. These instruments consist of benchtop units that apply the strips by means of electromechanical automated or manual procedures, frequently using a handheld vacuum probe attached to the unit.
