Beds, Electric, Alternating-Pressure

Definition : Electric beds designed to provide alternating pressure to the patient's body. These beds typically include a set of hollow sacks that are cyclically inflated and deflated by an air compressor in such a way that the inflated sacks support the patient and the deflated ones give pressure relief to prevent maceration of the patient's skin.
